|Textile Artists Leslie Kaye and Lorraine Roy, Art Waves #76|
Leslie Kaye and Lorraine Roy do things with a needle and thread that others have done with paint, or hammer and chisel, or whatever tools artists have commanded since the dawn of human culture. Black on black? The escarpment in stitches? No problem. From their training in architecture and agriculture respectively, they returned to lessons learned at their mothers (and fathers) knees to create art that opens new windows on the world.
